March 2017

March has been a month for travel. We enjoyed a few days near Malaga with Daniel and Jess and Jess's parents. Daniel and Jess have returned from 8 months travelling so we all had a lot to catch up on.
I then went to England for a few days before we set off again for a mini break in Barcelona with friends June and Jim.

We visited Granada and the Alhambra on the way to Malaga and enjoyed some spring sunshine on the beach. The weather was not so good for our visit to the precipitous walkway of the Caminito Del Rey, but the walk was impressive and fun. We all celebrated Daniel's 30th birthday while we were there.

We very much enjoyed Barcelona as well. The Sagrada Familia is breathtaking - work is still progressing and it will finally be finished in 2026. We all walked miles exploring the rest of the city as well, with several welcome beers and sangrias along the way!

We are home again now for the next few weeks and have guests arriving soon.

Here are our albums for March

  1. Good to see Daniel and Jess safely home. 30 eh? There's a milestone.

Glad you enjoyed La Sagrada Familia. We saw it early one morning on a beautiful sunny day and the light and the architecture literally reduced me to tears. The Alhambra isn't too shabby either! Makes me want to return to Spain soon...
