As I write this on the afternoon of 30th April, France meteo is warning us that a storm is on its way this evening. There is no sign of it at the moment, but the weather can change so quickly here.
April has been a month of mostly lovely warm sunshine and clear air. The trees are now mostly in full leaf and the farmers have been busy preparing the fields and planting. Our neighbours have just plated 2 big fields of sunflowers just down the lane, so that should be a picture in a couple of months time.
We have been quite busy with guests and also in the garden, preparing and tidying ready for planting. Dave already has the potatoes and onions well under way and the strawberry plants are looking good.
